This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and Phoenix WellCare. The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine
is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation Statement:
The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of six Category 1 credits toward the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

The Board of Pharmacy accepts CE's approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for six contact hours.
This conference has been approved by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
The California Acupuncture Board for LA-c's, provider CEP #467, aproved for 6 CE contact hours.
Most specialty organizations recognize AMA/PRA Category 1 credits. AMA/PRA credits are recognized by The Board of Psychology and the Physicians Assistants program in the State of California.

Evaluate new treatment paradigms for those seeking prevention and relief from symptoms of chronic disease and aging.
Enhance care of patients with serious illness through information regarding safe, efficacious use of complementary medicine and integrative therapies.
Educate and advise in safe, efficacious selection of supplements, herbs and botanicals.
Decrease the incidence of undiagnosed vitamin deficiencies and harmful interactions, and enhance the patient-provider partnership.
Improve patient cognitive function through use of parameters for pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to neurocognitive enhancement: effectiveness, efficacy, cost, consumer acceptance and ease of administration.
This activity is designated for credit towards the AMA/PRA.
