Eleanor D. Hynote M.D., Board Certified InternistBlending best of Western and Eastern Medicine Eleanor Hynote M.D., board certified internist, has served as the Founder and Director of Phoenix Well Care (PWC) since 1998. A Vassar graduate, Dr. Hynote received her M.D. from The University of California at Irvine, her residency training at The California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and completed a fellowship in clinical nutrition and metabolism from The University of California at Davis. Dr. Hynote has a logged in thousands of hours of continuing education in both traditional and alternative health care. Notably, she participated in the first training group in Botanical Medicine at Columbia University with Andrew Weil M.D. Dr. Hynote practiced as a primary care physician for nearly a decade and eventually found traditional western medicine practice limiting.
Today, her practice takes a proactive approach to wellness through analysis and prevention by combining conventional and integrative medicine. Phoenix WellCare's mission is supported by research-based advances in self care management and bioanalysis that offer the greatest potential for positively affecting length and quality of life. Dr. Hynote specializes in restoration of immune and metabolic system balance resilience, through nutrition and natural hormone modulation. Her practice mission assumes that each of us has the ability to achieve an optimal skin-to-core wellness level, regardless of an individual's health situation. Dr. Hynote has instituted an annual 21st Century Nutrition and Environmental Conference and Health Exhibit which offers continuing education for health professionals as well as the Napa and Sonoma communities.
Dr. Hynote mentors physicians interested in integrative medicine practice by providing on-site training and ongoing consultation. She is a board member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, a national organization of over 600 hundred complementary, alternative and integrative physicians. For the past two years, she has served as Program Director for their biannual conference which attracts physicians from all over the country.
Barbara Moss Keller, L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social WorkerPublic Relations, Development, Clinical Triage Mrs. Keller received her M.S.W. from the University of Maryland in Clinical Social Work and Community Planning, and her B.S in Childhood Education and Development from Adelphi University, Garden City New York. For fifteen years, Ms. Keller was owner and CEO of a large Northern California mental health company, Midpeninsula Mental Health Group specializing in problem-focused therapies for children, adolescents, and adults.
As an independent consultant, she went on to provide business facilitation, practice management, and executive coaching to health practices including Stanford University and UCSF Stanford Health Systems, Mills-Peninsula Hospital , The Parkinson's Institute, Atherton Plastic Surgery Center and Children's Health Council.
At Phoenix WellCare, Mrs. Keller serves as Business Director. She has been instrumental in recruiting a team of exceptional practitioners who offer an array of complementary alternative medical services. She is the program director for our annual 21st Century Nutritional and Environmental Health Conference.
Mrs. Keller also provides care management consultations, health referrals, and insurance interpretation.
Moses David Goldberg, N.D, Licensed Naturopathic DoctorNaturopathic Family Medicine Dr. Goldberg received his N.D. from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Portland Oregon. Naturopathic training is comparable to the clinical education of medical and osteopathic doctors, with the addition of extensive training in botanical, homeopathic, nutritional, physical and hydrotherapeutic medicine.
Dr. Goldberg has worked in a variety of settings in Oregon and California, providing both primary and complementary care. For over a decade, he was the co-founder of a large, organized behavioral healthcare delivery system in Northern California, Pacific Applied Psychologists. Dr. Alter went on to develop AlterMedX Health Systems â„¢ in order to specialize in the most innovative clinical approaches and to develop behavioral healthcare technology on the Internet.
Dr. Alter is a pioneer in brain biofeedback, whose techniques offer a safe, drug-free approach to optimizing function of one's central nervous system and peak brain performance. Dr. Alter joined Phoenix WellCare in 2004, to provide brain biofeedback, psychological and educational assessments, treatments for learning disabilities, and hypnotherapy for anxiety and depression. Inna Zelikman, N.P., Licensed Nurse PractitionerFamily WellCare Inna Zelikman received her R.N. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and her Masters of Science degree from the University of California at San Francisco where she received specialty course education in integrative and complementary healing. Ms. Zelikman has worked in a variety of settings including, Kaiser Hospital, UCSF Medical Center, and the San Francisco Public Family Health Center.
As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Zelikman works in specialty practices for weight management, drug and substance abuse, as well as chronic and acute pain control. At Phoenix WellCare, Ms. Zelikman specializes in young woman's physicals, gynecological examinations, natural hormone therapy, dietary analysis, and mood, sleep and psychiatric disorders; all with an emphasis on nutrition, nutraceuticals, and maintaining natural health.
Nancy Jeanne Cross, B.A., N.C., Certified Nutrition Educator and ConsultantCustomized Nutrition Planning Nancy Cross received her graduate training as a Certified Nutrition Educator and Consultant from the Bauman College of Nutrition and Culinary Arts, and her Bachelors degree in Child Development from Chico State University. She provides personalized, preventive and restorative nutrition plans to children and adults of all ages. Mrs. Cross has also worked in veterinary medicine practices, and has owned and operated an animal and feed center where she provided nutrition care and recommendations.
Mrs. Cross works with special needs nutrition plans including diet elimination for allergies, immunological health, behavioral journaling, and motivational coaching. Client problems include, but are not limited to, weight gain or loss.
Kathleen T. Lacey, R.N., Licensed Registered NurseIntravenous Therapies Kathleen "Katie" Lacey received her R.N. from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland California. Mrs. Lacey has over 20 years experience in settings which include Eden Hospital Medical Center, and the Benicia Unified School District. In addition to Phoenix WellCare, Mrs. Lacey works at the Marin Ophthalmic Surgery Center where she provides pre- and post-operative eye care. At Phoenix WellCare, she is the IV nurse, providing intravenous chelation and vitamin therapy services.
For several years, Ms. Lacey has run her own successful business specializing in commercial services. She utilizes her business skills to develop and promote special PWC events including our annual conference, and for development of our supplement product information and publicity.
Rosemary L. Calvert-Conley, Licensed Registered NurseSkin-to-Core Therapies Rosemary L. Calvert-Conley received associate degrees as a nurse and psychiatric technician from Napa Valley College. In addition, she is certified in Botox administration and Sclerotherapy, Laser Hair Removal, Endermoligie and Frequency Specific Microcurrent modalities.
She has held positions at California Dermaesthetics, Sun Plus Home Health and was Director of Nursing at Sierra Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She also works part time as a recovery nurse at Medical Aesthetics in Napa.
